Using the CompuSports Media Exchange

The CompuSports Media Exchange is designed to be an efficient Media Distribution web site.  The site offers e-Books, Articles, Software, Videos and other types of electronic information from a wide range of Authors and Publishers. 

This help document provides a brief explanation of the different sections of the CompuSports Media Exchange with a special emphasis on helping our visitors to learn how the site works and how to locate items in our catalog (Navigation).

The CompuSports Media Exchange for Buyers

E-Books, Articles and Software can be purchased and downloaded immediately by customers in one secure transaction. At the CompuSports Media Exchange, buyers can buy and download a whole book, booklet or article in a “seamless process”. “See it, learn about it, buy it, download it and read it” describes the customer experience at the CompuSports Media Exchange.

 

 

OVERVIEW

The Featured Titles displayed in the center of the screen are selected from the entire Inventory or e-Books and Software and will "rotate" each time you revisit the CompuSports Media Exchange or open a new browser session. 

To purchased a featured release, simply click on the link and you will go to the product page (see below)

The Left part of the screen is dedicated to Navigation.

NAVIGATION

There are only a few things that a buyer needs to know in order to successfully locate and purchase an item from the CompuSports Media Exchange. Without question, the most important is how to "navigate" or move within the site. 

The Navigation section is divided into the following sections:

  1. Services - Shopping Cart Review
  2. Locating a Product by category (Browse) SEE A DEMONSTRATION (requires Flash)
  3. Locating a Product by keyword (Search)
  4. General Items for visitors - Articles, News, Contact Info and About Us
  5. Account Access for business partners - Author, Publisher and Affiliate login

LOCATING PRODUCTS 

Locating a Product by Category (Browse by Media Type, Sport and Topic)

To use the Browse feature:
1) Select the type of Media you're looking for by clicking Articles, e-Books or Software in the left column under the BROWSE: heading.  These are Hyperlinks that will become active (underlined) as you move your mouse pointer over each word. 

2) Click the underlined Media Type hyperlink to open a second set of Hyperlinks (SPORTS) that will show you any Sports for which we have the media type you have selected (or click one of the Featured Releases to go to the product description page).  If the list contains multiple sports, then we have that media type  available in more than one Sport.  

3) Click a Sport hyperlink you will see a new set of featured releases for that Sport well as a new set of Hyperlinks, listing the topics from which you can select an item (or click one of the Featured Releases to go to the product description page).

4) Click the Topic hyperlink to display the items we have available in that topic.  This is the final level of navigation and now you must click one of the hyperlinks that shows all items available (Available Media) .

TRY IT!

A couple tips:

  • Look at the new list of Featured Releases each time you click a navigation hyperlink.  The list will now be refined by your selections on the navigation bar.
  • If you find what you are looking for, click on the product title hyperlink to see a product description and purchase the product if you wish.
  • Select the Sport you are interested in. Titles that apply to more than one sport will show up in multiple categories.
  • If you see a page number at the bottom, click the page number (or NEXT) to see more titles.

Locating a Product by Keyword (Search by Word)

You can also quickly find an e-Book, Article or Software Application that is not showing under Featured Releases on the main page by keyword.   To do this, type the keyword you are referring to into the Search box and click GO. This will search the Title, Author Name and Descriptions of our Entire Inventory and show you all of the titles available under that keyword.  For example, click Option and you will see all titles that include the word option, Shotgun will give you all titles with the word Shotgun, etc.

Between the category and Keyword Search we have made it easy for you to locate the items you are looking for.

OTHER

General Items for visitors - Articles, News, Contact Info and About Us

Articles includes a number of free coaching articles that are submitted to our Coachingsitesonline.com and Footballcoachingsites.com search directories. 

News includes a news announcements archive consisting of items of interest to CompuSports Media Exchange visitors.

Contact Info and About Us give you information about CompuSports and information so you can contact us by email or telephone.

Account Access for business partners - Author, Publisher and Affiliate login

Our Business Partners each receive an "Account" that enables them to add their e-Books, Articles and Software to our catalog and upload them to our servers.  In addition, Business Partners can view all sales activity related to their products and see contact information for our customers who purchase their products (many of our author and publisher partners provide technical support and additional benefits to those who purchase their products).
