Welcome Jerry
Jerry Campbell, a nationally renowned Coach, Author, Clinic speaker and highly requested Football Camp instructor has re-joined the CompuSports Network Editorial team and will be a regular contributor with articles on all phases of the game. Jerry is also well known among football coaches for his tireless efforts and active participation in the nearly 8000 member strong Coaches Forum that he launched at his web site at www.jcfb.com.
In addition to contributing football coaching articles, Jerry will be expanding the number of his books that will be available in eBook format through the CompuSports Media Exchange.
Experience, Energy and Passion
Jerry Campbell brings 30 years of coaching experience from around the country. His knowledge and passion for football is evident in the many football manuals he has authored and videos he has produced. Coach Campbell played collegiate football at California State University of Chico and has coached Youth, High School and College players including many that became NFL stars.
Coach Campbell was recently named Head Football Coach at Clovis H.S. in his home state of California. His prior coaching stints include Head Football Coach at Victoria Memorial High School, in Victoria, TX, Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line coach at Westwood High School in Round Rock, Texas and an assistant at Texas A&M Kingsville. Jerry recently launched his own web site, Jerry Campbell Sports. The site's "flagship" feature is a lively Discussion Board for Coaches, Players and Fans - hosted by Jerry himself and moderated by a number of High School and college coaches.
Free Coaching Book - Introducing the Option on Me eBooklet and eMail list
Jerry's first contribution to the CompuSports Network community is an 11 page eBooklet titled Option on Me. The book introduces the concepts and method of teaching Jerry's system that "never results in a bad play". The full length Option on Me eBook is a 50 page eBook filled with detailed information about the Midline, Veer and Load Option series drawn against various Defensive Schemes.
